Sail, Snorkel, Swim, and Swing!

Sail, Snorkel, Swim, and Swing is the four-hour Jolly Pirates flagship. FareHarbor lists it as their most popular item, and it is the trip most visitors to Aruba end up on.

You get three snorkel stops, a full-size sailing boat, and the rope swing off the stern. The operation is named for that swing, so expect a queue for it.

Why Sail, Snorkel, Swim and Swing is worth four hours

Four hours sounds long. However, it is the difference between one stop and three. One stop shows you a patch of reef. Three shows you what the leeward coast actually looks like.

Shorter trips exist, of course. Still, they mostly reach the same first site and turn round.

What to know first

Gear is provided. The boat has shade. Departure points and current inclusions are on the operator’s own page, because those change with the season.

This is a group sail, so it is busy. If you want quiet water instead, book a private charter.

Where it goes

The reefs it visits sit along the same stretch as Malmok Beach and Boca Catalina. In fact, a boat reaches structure there that you cannot swim to from the sand.
