Every snorkel sail off Aruba's leeward coast, what each one actually includes, and how to choose between them.
Aruba catamaran snorkeling is the easiest way to reach the reefs you cannot swim to. Every snorkel sail runs along the calm leeward coast. Most stop at a reef, and many also visit the Antilla shipwreck.

Most sails last about three hours. They include snorkel gear, and most add drinks on board.
However, the stops differ. Some boats visit the reefs off Malmok and Boca Catalina. Others add the wreck of the Antilla. So check the stop list on the booking page before you choose.
Take the morning sail if snorkeling is the point. The trade winds build through the day, so the water is usually flattest and clearest early.
In contrast, afternoon sails tend to be livelier, with more music and an open bar. They suit people who want the boat as much as the reef.
Jolly Pirates runs a four-hour sail with three snorkel stops and a rope swing. It also offers a shorter afternoon snorkel trip.
Meanwhile, Delphi Watersports runs a three-hour catamaran snorkel cruise with two snorkel stops. The price includes lunch and an open bar.
The Flagship is a 110-foot schooner out of Palm Beach. Its 10:15 AM sail goes to Boca Catalina and Malmok. In addition, its 3:15 PM sail visits the Antilla.
For a group, a private catamaran can cost less per head than a shared one. Plus, you pick the stops. See private snorkeling tours for the boats you can charter.
New to snorkeling? First, read whether a snorkel tour is worth it. The Aruba Tourism Authority covers the rest of the island.
