Aruba Premier Family Snorkel Lagoon

At the far southeastern tip of Aruba near San Nicolas, Baby Beach is a semi-circular cove protected by a natural coral barrier - creating a shallow, warm lagoon between 1 and 3 metres deep. Zero current, easy to stand in, easy to supervise children from the surface.

Three Snorkeling Zones

Inner lagoon (0.5-1.5m): Sandy bottom perfect for young children. Wrasse, sergeant majors, juvenile snapper, Caribbean reef squid. Mid-lagoon reef patches (1.5-2.5m): Best zone for most snorkelers. Parrotfish, blue tangs, stingrays, angelfish. Outer barrier (2.5-4m): Larger coral formations, sea turtles. Confident swimmers only.

Do not snorkel outside the lagoon barrier - strong currents in the open ocean beyond. Supervise children closely at all times.
